The opera ain’t over even after the WIF Lady sings. The Women In Film Foundation Film Finishing Fund (FFF) takes great pride in the success of our grantees. Here is the 7th of 8 interviews that we'll be unspooling until April 30th. We’ll be revisiting some of our past winners to discuss the life of an independent filmmaker in today’s digital world and to see what winning a grant meant for their film and for them.
This week we talk with Cynthia Wade the director of Freeheld which was part of our 2007 FFF Grant Cycle. Producer and WIFF Trustee, Cathleen Summers conducts the interviews.

WIF Secretary and Foundation Trustee, Hillary Bibicoff, is leaving her partnership at Greenberg Glusker for a place at the boutique law firm of Holmes Weinberg PC. “I had the pleasure of working with Hillary at the beginning of her career. I’m delighted with her success and look forward to working with her again. I have great confidence that she will thrive within the client-focused boutique team environment Steve [Weinberg] and I have created,” said Henry Holmes in a statement today.
