Women In Film is thrilled to have partnered with Italian fashion house MaxMara for the last four years. MaxMara is especially supportive of women, their ideas, attitudes, accomplishments and their future. On May 9, 2007, MaxMara and Women In Film co-hosted their second annual luncheon at the Sunset Tower Hotel to honor the 2007 “Face of the Future” Award winner, Emily Blunt. The British thesp was feted by industry power brokers and fellow actors for her breakout year in film and celebrated for her talent, style and grace.
Industry movers and shakers attended the exclusive chic gathering including MaxMara’s Lisa Monteleone and Isaac Joseph, WIF President Jane Fleming, President Emeritus Iris Grossman, CAA agent Chris Andrews, producer Wendy Finerman, studio executive Carla Hacken, last years’ MaxMara Award recipient Maria Bello, actresses Amy Brenneman, Kathy Baker, Gretchen Mol, screenwriter Robin Swicord and producers Jennifer and Suzanne Todd.
