Women In Film PSA 2014 Charity Applications

The Women In Film Public Service Announcement (PSA) Charity Applications are open!

WIF PSA brings together Hollywood talent who donate their time and resources to promote organizations that improve the lives of women and children. From creation to distribution, Women In Film members hone their craft by helping charities which otherwise would have no way to publicize their services. Each year, the award winning PSA Production Program selects four to five charity organizations throughout the nation to receive a pro bono PSA.

Deadline: August 31, 2014

WIF on FOD!

The film industry today faces a critical problem.  We are, of course, referring to the severe lack of men in film!  Don’t believe us?  Here is Fred Willard at the opening of The 2014 Crystal + Lucy Awards® to shed light on the crisis.

(DISCLAIMER: The preceding comments made by Mr. Willard do not reflect the views of Women In Film. We are very glad Tracee was there to rectify the situation.)

We are grateful to the creative folks at Funny or Die, including Rachel Goldenberg - director, Bradly Schulz - editor and Jason Carden - producer; along with Fred Willard and our emcee at the event, Tracee Ellis Ross.
